27th-Place Finish
For Leffler at Chicagland

JOLIET, Ill. – Jason Leffler drove the No. 70 Haas Automation Chevrolet to a 27th-place finish in the LifeLock.com 400 at Chicagoland Speedway Saturday night.

Leffler and the No. 70 secured a spot in the starting lineup when Thursday’s qualifying session was cancelled to do rain. He started the race from the 43rd position on the grid.

“The car was kind of all over the place tonight,” Leffler said. “I brushed the wall early into the race and that made it tight more than anything. I’m sure we would have been better without the damage, but it could have been worse too. At least I was able to continue and gain some valuable points for the team,” he said.

Leffler will be behind the wheel of the No. 70 again at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the Allstate 400 on July 27.
